Lorraine W. Trenholm
Lorraine help found the Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod, MA. was also Vice-President (until 2002) of PPSCC and is now a signature member.

Painting major at Pratt Institute.
Lorraine's pastels have received many awards in national competions. Saluki clubs nation wide have commissioned her to do artwork to be used as trophies for their shows. In 2000, one of saluki collages was used as the catalog cover for the prestigious Santa Barbara Dog Show. Lorraine's artwork appears in Lois's book "Painting the impressionist Landscape."
Lorraine continues to do both studio and "plein air" work.

Collectors notice her attention to the light and color that is so characteristic of the Cape Cod region. Lorraine has a preference for pastel and oil and has produced many acclaimed works of the East Coast landscape.
Lorraine's pastel painting "Chamisa Arroyo III" was juried into the "International Association of Pastel Societies" 18th Exhibition at The Hispanic Arts Gallery Expo New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM, June 2011. This is Lorraine's third point towards (needs 5) getting her "Master Pastelist" designation.
