Featuring guest artist: Dore Page
Dore's dynamic compositions celebrate the everyday; down-home tradition and pop culture at equal ease in the same work. What begins as inspiration-approaching typography and letter-press printing as an art form-has come of age. Visually, her composite works could be described as skirting the boundaries of pop art, but with a personal or even painterly construct that draws easy comparisons to Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky.
